So You’re Ready to Outsource!
So the time has come for you to take on a virtual assistant or another service provider. You can make the process a lot smoother by having a few things already planned out and prepared.
Tasks to Outsource
Make a list of all the tasks you do for your business
How long are you spending on these tasks?
Which ones are not the best use of your time?
Prioritise each task (highest to lowest priority)
From your list pin point the tasks that need to be outsourced
What software and skills are needed for each task?
How much time do you need someone to devote to your tasks (daily/weekly/monthly)?
Are there specific times that your tasks need to be taken care of (certain days, AM, PM, etc)?
What is your outsourcing budget?
Will you need to pay in instalments?
3. Choosing who You will Outsource to
Ask other business owners who they outsource to
Do a search for relevant service providers (Facebook groups are great for this)
Contact service providers and set up a consultation
Before your call make a list of all the things you need to discuss
Decide who you will work with
Arrange to sign a contract
Make payment up front, if required
Assign your first project and share any documents/folders/logins required
